Opening the Open City

Thanks to a very timely SMS tip-off from Ms. Hunt, Joshua, Garrett, Ginny and I made it to Open City tonight during its first few hours of existence in the neighborhood. No wi-fi yet, but a very solid menu, great bar, and a full house of good-seeming people ready to join us in making this place our new home in the Woodley neighborhood. (I mean, it’s really terrible — don’t go.) Good chocolate milkshakes too, apparently, if you’re into that sort of thing at midnight, Garrett.DCist — your review? or did we scoop you on this one?
